Filter

The filter is an in-house development of MTAG Switzerland AG and is specially designed as a combined cyclone, spark arrestor and bag filter with easy dust extraction. After each treatment, every filter bag is cleaned by a supersonic impulse jet with nitrogen. The dust sticking to the bag material is shacked off and falls down into the dust-collecting bin.

The bags are installed on and stabilized by supporting baskets.

Since the bag filter acts also as a heat exchanger, particular care has been taken on the selected materials concerning its resistance against condensation humidity.

A movable cover that facilitates the bag inspection as well as the bag exchange seals the filter body. In general, easy and safe access ensures less time-consuming maintenance work.

The filter unit is specifically designed with a bag arrangement, which allows an optimized equal gas load distribution.

Furthermore, the filter unit consists of:

• Bag assembly
• Nitrogen pulse jet cleaning device with accumulator
• Pre-separation, gas mixing and spark arresting cyclone
• Over pressure flap
• Cover lifting and swiveling device (if hall crane is not available)
• Dust collecting bin
